this was in a news article and it is a lawful and correct statement "allegedly abducted." Until a case has been proven in a court of law, it is an accepted convention to refer to an apparent crime as "alleged" or "allegedly". Except when it comes to the British media and the McCanns.
Why are we being force fed that maddie was abducted does anyone have proof that she was actually taken?

no they cant but the mccanns and the pj cant prove that anything else happened to her either.

its a complete mystery what has happened and there is no one theory more stronger than the other at the minute.

i agree, she was "allegedly" abducted but no1 can say 4 sure what actually happened. if she was abducted then we wont know for sure until they find her or hard evidence and her parents will have 2 live with letting her go as easily as they apparently did for the rest of their lives. on the other hand, only they know the truth, if they did it i hope the police find good evidence as the twins need a stable loving home life which at the moment i dont think they're getting regardless whether they're guilty or not.
i hope she is ok but i get a deep rooted feeling that she died some time ago for whatever reason.

There has NEVER been any proof that Madeleine was taken by an 'abductor'.

No evidence of a break in (except the issue with the shutters where the Police AND Mark Warners staff who said they were not jemmied)

No evidence of anything touched or stolen (other than Kates very unlikely 'Cuddle Cat' story)

No witnesses (other than the discredited 'Tapas 9' Jane Tanner)

None of which the McCanns have ever tried to prove, they have only tried to prove THEIR 'innocence' hence the latest tests on their childrens hair !!!

Lets remember that if we are talking statistical probability, then 70% of child murders are committed by one or both parents - FACT

To michael w, the general concensus by the pj and many people on here is not murder, but manslaughter, if the accidental overdose theory turns out to be true. If this turns out to be true, we are dealing with some callous people here.

The truth will out.

Well people don't just vanish into thin air. So she was either abducted or murdered, but why would anyone want to murder a 4 year old little girl so my guess is that she was abducted by a person or persons unknown .Like everyone else on here I am only guessing. But are there any alternatives.

'allegedly taken' is right
nothing has been proven in this case except that the British press are biased and easily manipulated

There is NO proof of anything in this case. All we have to go by is our own feelings and what the media tell us.I think Madeleine was abducted or wandered off but,I don't expect others to feel the same. That's just my views on it.
I read in one paper 'Parents are guilty of manslaughter' and read in another 'Proof Madeleine was abducted'.All these papers papers go by at the moment is speculation. That can be said for us all.

Untill she is found or someone confesses to the crime, no one can say with 100% certainty what really happened that night. Unless they were there of course.
