It will likely be the USA, EU (France, Germany, Italy, etc), Australia, Canada, Mexico, South Korea, Japan, Israel vs Iran, Russia, China, South Korea, and Syria. It's hard to say which one India, Egypt, or Turkey will go with.
WWIII will probably be sparked by war in the middle east, namely Iran, Israel, Iraq, and Syria. Iran and Syria right now are building nuclear resources, they insist it is for nuclear power plants, but at the same time Iran is speaking of wiping Israel off the map. Syria has been confirmed to be working with the Russians to acquire nuclear weapons, for what, we don't know, but it righftully makes the Israeils very nervous. If either attacks Israel, then the USA will jump on them, and their ally, Russia will jump on the US, then the EU will jump on Russia and then everyone will dog pile, and you have WWIII. More like WWI than WWII really.
The safest place to hide in the US? Well, there's always the deep south. I suggest you start learning German, as Switzerland always manages to get out of these World Wars, one way or the other. I can't see any reason to learn Arabic, as most of those countries still speak english (if as a second language), due to the British colonization just a few decades prior. I suppose learning a few chinese words couldn't hurt, but I doubt you'll be speaking any of their languages.
Despite what people claim, WWIII probably won't be a nuclear war, if any nuclear weapons are used, they will be small scale, and strategic. The Russians know if they fire at the US or its allies, the US will blow them back into the stone age. While (North) Korea could have a nuclear arsenal, it would be fairly useless outside of attacking South Korea, in comparison to the US' arsenal in Japan, which could blow them off the face of the Earth from almost anywhere. Then the Chinese have nukes, but same problem, very primitive, very limited.
The US Mainland will likely not be invaded, attacked, if lightly, but not invaded. I think Americans would have more to worry about terrorists today than to be invaded, much less occupied.
The USA hasn't even been a super power for more than 90 years, it still has a few centuries to go before it 'falls' if you ask me. Also note, all those other countries were oppressive and tyrannical, regardless of what some people say in the middle east, the USA is a predominately benign country. I think the USA will be fine in the foreseeable human future.

WWIII will become fully involved within 12-15 years. It is already starting, in its early stages.
WWIII will happen whether or not the US wants to participate, and the US will be forced to participate at some point. So we had better be ready.
Exactly how the different blocks will line up is more difficult to be sure. There will be the Islamist Extremists, of course, and they will be opposed to North America, Europe, and the UK. I do not think all Muslim countries will be allied with the Extremists though. They are starting to acknowledge freely that the Islamic Extremists are their enemies too.
Russia has been an ideological enemy of the West since 1917, but it was actually allied with the democratic West in WWII, so I will not venture to predict which side they will take.
China is a pretty big power, and though it may not be eager to fight, it may be forced to. There is an Islamist extremist faction in China too, so it may be civil war. China is not generally very invasive, but it may throw support behind some other countries.
Some African countries, such as Somalia, may end up allied with Iran, which is a Shiite extremist state. Saudi, I suspect, is more likely to side with the West, but there is no guarantee. I notice that Iran also makes friends with socialist dictatorships, and may be an ally of Russia. Will Latin American countries be involved in WWIII? They might, though they stayed out of the last two. Drug cartel insurgencies have been active for decades now, and may take the opportunity to seize a state or two or three.
It is obvious that conflicts are building dramatically, but exactly what will set off the big fight is not possible to predict.

The US is NOT going to strike Iran. The United Nations is going to step in and stop the Americans from doing this. This is something that should have happened over the crisis in Iraq. The UN has learnt it's lessons and believe me they have been VERY hard lessons. China and Russia have been allies for decades so there's no surprise there. President Putin has said that diplomacy is the way forward, and so does President Armedinajad. The age of the Nuclear weapon is OVER. They are obsolete, as too many countries now own them. Mutually Assured Destruction is the deterrent here. Destroy another country with nuclear weapons and you yourself are destroyed, so it's completely POINTLESS. President Bush knows this, as does the rest of the world. WWIII has already happened, it's in Iraq at the moment, with so many nations involved. G W Bush has a short time in office left, not enough time to make war on Iran, so I won't be building my shelter just yet.

With every day pass, our country is getting into more and more trouble. The inflation, unemployment and falling value of dollar are the main concern for our Government but authorities are just sleeping, they don’t want to face the fact. Media is also involve in it, they are force to stop showing the real economic situation to the people. I start getting more concern about my future as well as my family after watching the response of our Government for the people that affected by hurricane Katrina.
According to recent studies made by World Bank, the coming crisis will be far worse than initially predicted. So if you're already preparing for the crisis (or haven't started yet) make sure you watch this video at http://www.familysurvival.tv and discover the 4 BIG issues you'll have to deal with when the crisis hits, and how to solve them fast (before the disaster strikes your town!) without spending $1,000s on overrated items and useless survival books.

If you want to learn Mandarin but you have no clue in which to start then a program for Mandarin is the ideal on the web course for the novices simply because it genuinely commences with the basis.

More like WW4. The cold war was a version of WW3. I would expect it to start in the Middle East and spread from there.

I think that people should be able to build bunkers underground, maybe even under their homes.....kind of like how some bunkers were build during the cold war.

Don't fret.
Bush is blowing off more steam and idiotic rhetoric.
He may THINK it's "funny" to start WW3, but it's going to be a war we will not win.
Not by a long shot.
