should i try drying the wood rapidly in an overn or something? or should i try to have the whole project finished in a matter of hours so i can seal and laminate it before it has a chance to dry? i dont know what should i do.

The wood has to dry and cure for a couple of years before it can be used in a project. There's no shortcut.
