My absolute faves are, Fright Night, one and two. Both were good and had all the stuff that I enjoy in a good vampire movie. Great mood setting music, suspense, sex, good looking master vampires who can be irresistible to the opposite sex.
In the first Fright Night, they had a male vampire who could control people and was coming on to women with true success. lol They could not resist him.
In the second one, it was an incredibly hot woman vampire and of course men could not resist her.
Loved the music in both, it helped make these both my favorites. Watch them on DVD with a good sound system and turn it up

My Faves are "Old Dracula," with David Niven at his comic best, saving what was essentially a "B" movie, the action packed "Blade," and of course, "Once Bitten"Jim Carrey's first starring role against the incredibly hot cougar, Lauren Hutton as the vamp who needs the blood of a virgin, (Carrey,) to regain her youth.
Gary Oldman also turned in another incredible performance in the title role of "Bram Stoker's Dracula."

Dracula. I was barely out of diapers when Bela Lugosi played the part. I remember seeing them on TV especially around Halloween as a teen. Oops, made a rhyme LOL

Interview With a Vampire was good. Queen of the Damned was alright - I liked the books better.

I just saw 30 Days of Night. It was really good. But I'd have to say John Carpenter's Vampires is my all time favorite.

Nosferatu- because it was truly creepy. The way it was shot, and the actor, it looked real. It was just really scary, and still is.
Of course Bela Lugosi as Dracula is a very close second. Give credit where it's due!!
