Okay, here it is. My friend has partial custody of her kids because her a$$hole boyfriend who is the Father of the kids decided to come back after a year of disappearing to be a dad to them. The kids do not like it (they are 5 and 3 years old) and their mother (my friend) hates to see them sad whenever they go over his place every other weekend.
Recently, she blew up cursing at him on the telephone and now he wants partial custody of the children (50%).
Now, the question is: How can we prevent this?

UPDATE: To add more light in the situation...
1)She is not abusive...but I hear he is a bit physical sometimes...
2) She cannot afford a lawyer and her parents WILL NOT help her (She comes from a very very very dysfunctional family)
3)He has been out of the picture for a year or so and recently popped back in asking for partial custody
4)Do not ever go to a court in PA. For an example, she showed the court a photo of her son after being strangled by the Father. His face was red and all and the court took the picture and threw it to the side saying "what am I suppose to see here?"

Why are they objecting? Is there abuse? She needs to get a lawyer and protect her and the kids.
