You are forgetting to mention that Bush, Sr. served under Reagan from 1980-1988 and then as President from 1988-1992.
Those numbers add up to quite a bit. In fact, they totaled 25,816.
I do want to point out that I stand for neither the Republican nor the Democratic party. I think they both sleep in the same bed and that both are just as responsible for what is happening now just as both are responsible for what has happened in the past.
EDIT: Once again, pnac penelope is blinded by the light. I guess darkness is her best friend.

Why don't we hear or see these things on the nightly news!! Our world is so backwards!! Why do they ignore murderous dictators like Saddam and North Korea's ruler yet call a man a murderer who uses his country's forces to free people from such wicked men? Bush is a hero and one of the best Presidents we've ever had! And our soldiers are fighting an important war! The ones that have laid down their lives did it for our freedom and all that is right and honorable and true!! God Bless America! God Bless our President! God Bless our Troops! And God Bless the Iraqis for all that they have endured for a chance to be free!

Sweetie, why don't you post the number of combat troops critically wounded and permanently disabled?
Those are the numbers the Pentagon doesn't enjoy disclosing.
Casualty numbers have thankfully been kept low by rapid access to full medical facilities in and around Iraq, as well as fast access to our German military bases. Unfortunately, we now have an unprecedented number of veterans with life-altering injuries.

Libs don't live in reality!!!...everything is emotion driven to them. They hate this president with all the hate satan and his demons can muster up...in their minds the President dances a jig whenever a military person dies in Iraq. They don't have the responsibility to protect 300 million people after they suffered the most hateful attack in US history. Its easy to moan and spout your simpleton little sayings such as Bush lied..its all about oil...the war is lost......it appears that being over in Iraq might be safer then walking around in most of our cities in the US....why aren't the libs crying about all the young blood shed in our inner cities?? are the young in our inner cities less valuable then our military??...why aren't they crying about the decadence and coldness that is enveloping our inner cities??....the ONLY outrage libs have is anything pertaining to President Bush!!...they are a sickness on this country that has to be stopped in 08!!

Yes. Bush is an accessory to the unnecessary deaths of US soldiers.
What your numbers do NOT show, are the litany of lies Bush and friends told to put soldiers in harms way. Even though the results are the same, there is a difference between self defense and man slaughter.
