Britain is bringing 50% of its troops home in the next few months. If we did that, it would be a start.

G-man, it's not about what I want. It's about what the American people want. And my question was not about any one party.

The government that started the illegal war is unlikely to stop it, but more worrying is that the new government elected in 08 has no intention of stopping the war either, the majority of the people of the USA have no voice, for them democracy is dead.

Bush intends to dramtically cut the number of troops in Iraq next summer, to claim success, and give the republican 08 campagn a timely boost, whether that will be enough to fool the American people, some of whom has no idea what goes on outside their country, remains to be seen.

The war has not ended because the present administration has forgotten that they work FOR the people of the USA and instead think they work for Halliburton. The will of the people matters little to Bush or his thugs in suits. He shoved his way into the White House, do you really think he cares what the people want?

If you want us to lose and fail in Iraq then yes. But YOUR party is in power in Congress and has done nothing about it. Seems to me YOUR party doesn't care about the will of the people.
