Yup! That's actually what my doctor reccomends doing, is adding the milk slowly. For right now just an ounce, and then every few days you can add another ounce until it's all whole milk :) Good luck!

Sure thing.
You're supposed to give them a couple table spoon of dairy between 8-12 months, so they get used to it. My son just turned 9 months today, and he's been drinking around 8 oz of regular milk every day for a few weeks now. I started little by little, and he took right to it, not even so much as consitpation resulted from it. No problems at all.

I agree with the last post. If you want to at this stage Im sure it would be fine but why not just wait till 1 year and then try her just on whole milk? She might really like it.

If you are considering changing over from breastfeeding, talk to your midwife, health visitor, or breastfeeding counsellor first, as it is not easy to go back once you've made the change. Partial bottle feeding with an infant milk may reduce the supply of your breast milk.

As long as she has no issues with dairy allergies it should be fine to start transitioning. That's really the best way to get her used to the cows milk. Just keep increasing the ratio as you go along.

Well, you can...but there's really no rush. You don't have to stop giving your baby formula on their first birthday! Personally I would wait until she is one, and then simply try her on whole milk. If she likes it and doesn't get tummyache, then there's no need for the complication of mixing them.

It doesn't matter that if it's organic or not..first of all and 2nd you can start now if you wanted they tell you to wait until 11 months but it's almost that time...just make sure you mix the formula properly still.
