Would Jesus support healthcare for children, but ONLY if it is financed solely by a 'SIN' tax? A 'sin' tax that hits the lower income levels harder too. Why not a tax on all or a 'sin' tax on alcohol? Do more drink than smoke in those upper income levels that could better bear the burden? Just asking...

I love how people are spinning with their answers. It may have been a political decision, but it is about an important social issue. And for "confiscatory taxation" and "lunacy" spending, what do you think the current war expenditures are going to do?? Increase taxes on future generations.

Not necessary...He'd just lay his hands on them and heal them. No taxes involved in that brand of universal health care. Now if you can offer that, you'd probably get some support.
