I am 25 years old and have been on birth controll for 5 yrs. My period has never been this late before and never when I've been on the pill!

The first day of my last period was Sept 10th/2007. I should have had my period start around Oct 8th but it never came! I know I missed a pill on Sept 21st and had sex, but can that 1 time make me pregnant when I'm on the pill???

I've been experiencing some odd symptoms. I have been feeling tired all of the time, My lower abdomen has been feeling bloated and crampy...and sometimes I even getting this nauseous feeling...I've noticed it mostly in the morning or when I'm getting hungry! I dont have any tenderness or pain in my breasts.

I have been really stressed out about work and personal issue's!!

I took a home pregnacy test on OCT 13th, which came back Negative! I called my doctor and he told me wait other week and do another HPT. I did my second test in the morning on OCT 20th...still negative!

On Oct 6th I had some PINK spotting that only lasted that day...and Oct 19th I had red/brown discharge...never had that before!!!????

Can anyone tell whats going on???

their is a possibility that you are pregnant. dont use anymore hpt go get a blood test at the doctors office

first thing to do is to relax,
stress can make you miss your period and feel the symptoms of pregnancy.
2nd your mind can play tricks on you when your stressed out
3rd hpt can lie sometimes so go to the doctor they can tell u 2 weeks after conception
4th make a chart of when you take your pill and look at it that will help u stay on track
5th make a chart of when your period is due and watch it for when its due that will help u alot

go get a blood test
good luck
god bless u
u r n my prayers

I doubt that you are pregnant if you had that many negative tests. BUT, if you miss your pill again and have sex, you can get pregnant!! Make sure you are taking your pill everyday right around the same time (within an hour).
I would say that for some reason (maybe cause you missed that pill) your cycle has gotten screwed up. Birth control pills can do strange things to your body and your cycle. Just make sure you keep taking them everyday and stay on track. Things will probably go back to normal.... Although, I do have a friend that who has been on the pill so long that now her periods only last 1-2 days and it is usually hardly any blood. She says it's more like the pink/red spotting and some brownish blood (not to worry... it's just "older" blood and that's why it's dark). So, it could just be that you are going to start having really short periods and they could start changing just cause you have been on the pill so long.

Just because you've never had something before, or your body has never done something before doesnt mean it wont change and do that very thing.

Your body changes its hormones and cycles every 7 years. Beyond that, anything from a full moon to too many green m&m's can change your cycle. You dont need a reason to skip, be late, be early, be heavy, spot, or double up. It just happens for no real known reason. Stress, sickness, age, all these are factors that can change things up.

Even when on the pill. Relax a little.

Your body is adjusting to that missed pill. go on about your daily life and get thing back to normal and don't miss any pills.
When you do miss a pill you should use and alternative method of protection

You are most likely not pregnant, but if you still are concerned, schedule a blood test with your doc.
