This was always going to be a serious match.

Indian team had to prove a point to the Australian team that they are not called T20 WORLD CHAMPIONS for nothing & they are the best in Twenty20 cricket.

Dhoni smacked Bret Lee out of the park. Wow, this was the moment of the match for me.

And Australia now have to seriously look at their T20 performance. They were defeated thrice in world cup & now in this match.

On the other hand, this was India's 5th straight win in T20 cricket.

Bravo Gambhir,Uthappa & Harbhajan. Yuvi played well & hit 3 sixes & he was good in fielding too.
Dhoni did well. Pathan & Karthis also did well.

So it was a team performance. That's what you need to win matches in any format of the game.

Well played India.

Cheers!!!

I fully agree with you. There were comments by certain sections that India's win in the T20 Cricket World Cup was a fluke. by again defeating Australia so convincingly, they have proved not only to Australia bu the whole world that they are real champions in this format of the game. They outplayed Australia in all departments yesterday and by half way stage it was clear that india will be the winner. Running between the wickets by Gautam Gambhir and Robin Uthappa was a treat to watch which is seldom witnessed in Indian cricket. bowling of harbhajan Singh was exceptional. To restrict a strong batting side like Australia which had hard hitters like Gilchrist, Hayden, Symonds and ponting was a commendable job.

India should not be complacent and over confidence by this win and should carry on with the same consistency in future as well.

Yup it was a cracker of a game.. IND is performing stupendously without Sachin,Dravid,Sourav as the youthful T20 champs embarrass AUS again today.
I feel the young Indian team is the future of INDIAN CRICKET. Gone are the days of mighty Sachin, Sourav & Dravid. Of course its from point of view.
I loved watching the match. Yuvi's sixers were a delight to watch. Of couse Gambir too. I was speechless when Dhoni smashed Bret Lee's ball for a mighty six to pull off a convincing win.
Moreover India didnt lose much in the series which just passed by. It was almost 3-3. But luck favoured the Aussies.
However I feel Indian Cricket Board should give more chance to young players.

Big cheers for INDIAN CRICKET TEAM..

Jai Hind.

Cheers!! :-)))

I agree with you. India really played well during the Twenty20 match:). They had the spirit up to the last. And, Uthappa and Gambhir balanced a very good partnership. During the first 5 overs, the 4's that they hit really was good. And everyone in the team played good. But, they have to keep up the spirit to last.
They are the Twenty20 world champions!!! =)))))

If they keep up the same spirit till the next match, they will win!=))

Cheer India!!!!=))))

Chake De! :)

Australia made more mistakes than Indians. It shows they will also wilt under pressure.
In fact it was Harbhajan and Pathan who prevented Australia from posting around 200.M.Karthik also appears to learn the tricks of T20.
This made things easy for our batsmen enabling India to justify their recent T20 WC triumph.

Not really

india played well...but i am not very happy with their batting

and the way they won...very bad bowling from aussies and feilding...given away about 30-35 runs..lol..3 free hits..gambhir got out on a no ball...and wide+byes

i dont think australia will be world champ in 50-50 for a long time
