The love of our Lord. Babies, puppies and seeing an elderly couple walking along and holding hands. Waking up and hearing the birds chirp. Getting a real letter from a friend. Listening to my grandson on the telephone. Talking to my parents. Turning on the radio and hearing a good song. Seeing a butterfly land on a flower, the sound of the rain, seeing a lifht snow fall against a beautiful sunset. I find there are many simple pleasures in this life that bring a smile to my face...

I'm a grandma and I love to watch babies.
They're innocent, loving and trusting until adults get hold of them and break their spirit. All babies make me smile because of the hope in their eyes.

My two-year old granddaughter when she kisses me when she sees me that I am not feeling well and says, "I love you, grandma. Um...(kiss). That will make you feel better."
