what is the point? why must the qb identify himself as the one with the radio? what's stopping a second player from having a radio w/o the sticker? what if the qb didnt have the sticker at all? what if someone else like the WR had the sticker and the not the qb? would officials check then? if that's the case, why not check everyone and yet still find that only one person has the radio?

The QB is the one with it since he leads the offense and communicates the play to his squad in the huddle. QBs are the onky ones allowed to have a radio in their helmet for that reason. If a non-QB is found with a radio in his helmet, I'd imagine the penalty would be pretty severe from the league.
Of course, next season, when they get a radio for the defense (and they will thanks to Belichick and the Cheatriots), it will be interesting how they do it. The MLB makes the defensive play calls but defenses substitute more freely and in some situations, the MLB isn't even on the field.

Because there can only be one on the field. If there is more than one then it's illegal. Just for fairness. It doesn't matter who has it, but the QB usally does and he is the only one that can have it during the play.

Uh...The QB has it because the play starts with him...not the OL or WRs...not the RB...
