Bush offered a $300 tax cut as a bribe during his 2000 campaign. For those who accepted, did they realize...?

that his offer had strings attached? Did the bush voter realize that by cashing in that $300 check, they were also agreeing to the following terms?:

- their health care costs will double
- gas prices will triple
- education costs will rise by 40%
- the US dollar will be worth less than the Canadian dollar
- $12 billion a month will be put on our great-grandchildren's credit card to pay for bush's war in Iraq
- the national debt will more than double
- a disproportionately large tax break will be given to the very wealthy, thus shifting the burden of paying off the national debt from the billionaires to the middle class

Tax cuts have increased the revenue and what happened to the Democrats doing something about gas prices. Maybe if we could control the education union we could control education cost. Doesn't matter how much the Canadian dollar is worth it's going for high taxes. Maybe our grandchildren can still have freedom. I'm middle class and the tax cuts have helped me allot, your just mad because people on welfare didn't get a tax cut.

Are you saying that government interference in medicine is causing health care to cost more? Then why support Hillary, Edwards, or Obama?
Same goes for education.
Of course you don't give credit for 9/11 and the associated costs. Clinton neglected the military and so, like Reagan before him, Bush had to spend more to bring the military back up to speed.

I got the check, for $600, I cashed it. I paid heating bills with it.
Then I made out my income tax, lo and behold that money was income and taxed again so, oops sorry, if that was my money in the first place I already paid taxes on it when it was given to me, and then again when it came in the mail.
It also pushed me into a higher tax bracket.

No, they realized nothing. Bush counted on them to be idiots, and they did not let him down. Watch the dollar slide!!! Its exciting! Down 40 % v. the Euro just this year! That only effects the cost of imports. And there is only one import that really matters: O I L. The economy is crashing and a lot of people are going to get hurt, its their fault for being shallow, short sighted, and stupid enough to believe Mr. Bush.
