Does anyone know where to purchase mr. potato head type pieces that you push into pumpkins to make faces on the pumpkin? I do not want the actual "Mr. Potato Head" kit to make one pumpkin. I want a kit that has several different eyes, nose, ears, mouth that kids can choose from to make their own pumpkins. I would like to find some to use in my classroom.

Thank You

I haven't seen them, but we can make things like that from polymer clay (baked around tacks, etc., or glued into them later).

Or they could even make their own pieces (eyes, ears, mouths, etc.) from air-dry clays, but then you'd have to make it a 2 -day project so they'd dry... or paint the features then leave enough time for paint to dry before decorating (or mix the paint into the clay to color it from the beginning if you use salt-dough clay or something similar).

They could also draw (or just color in) some facial features, cut them out, then glue onto tacks.

P.S. If you buy a kit, you can make molds of the features with polymer clay (then bake in your oven) to harden. That would allow you to make multiples of the original shapes with polymer or air-dry clay very quickly.
