Is Mabel Chiltern's proposal monologue from an Ideal Husband by Oscar Wilde a very popular audition piece for a comedic monologue? I don't want to do anything that is overdone, or done often. I have very little audition experience, could anyone just name a few very popular pieces so that I can steer away from them?

a good one to use is the first act ending in David Hare's 'Plenty'.
The character Susan has a wallopping speach there.
