It's not a legitimate question that anybody can provide a legitimate answer to, so it's considered chatting. You can ask stuff like "what would you do if a zombie came after you?" because you can think about it and answer that question. The answers to the question that got deleted can't be answered with an opinion or a response based on fact, feeling, or personal experience, so it's considered chat.
