I'm not a Lib or Conservative, but the Bible clearly states that God created Adam, and then created Eve from Adam's side.

Mine says Adam and Eve, but it also says "do unto others", don't judge others, etc. If a God made "Adam and Eve" in "His" image, then "Adam and Steve" and "Abby and Eve" must be in "His" image too. Who's to say that "Adam and Steve" are not God's children, loved and created in "His" image?

It also said that Lot 'knew his daughters' but that's not a good idea. It also says that a man must marry his brothers widow. In fact it says a lot of things, not adhered to anymore and with good reason.
There is only one set of Bibles, Old and New, its the interpretation given it by church and rabbinical sages of their particular denomination, not Conservatives and Liberals, no matter what George Bush and his ilk seem to think.

Do they read the bible? They must not because if they did they wouldn't be promoting homosexuality. Political Correctness is killing this country. I myself have vowed to be Politically Incorrect.

First, contrary to what you think -- liberals don't all follow the same religion -- so, your argument that "God wanted it that way" is irrelevant.

Second, contrary to popular opinion -- just because one religion may prohibit something is not valid grounds to pass laws against it in the US -- there's that pesky Constitution that forbids one religion from being dominant.

Third -- as you may not be aware -- many religions do recognize homosexuality as valid.

Fourth -- just because heterosexuality might have came first, doesn't make it the only valid approach.

Finally -- who gets legal benefits in the US has nothing to do with religion -- or race -- or gender -- so, your argument is not only irrelevant, prejudiced, irrational and purely religious -- it also has nothing to do with the way our legal system works.
