First - you and he are both in High School, so the chances of you staying together are slim and remote. However, I do know of a guy that married his High School GF and they are still married after nearly 20 years. So, it does happen.
The question you have to remove yourself from, is will this work out and you get married? If so, then go to a professional photographer and get him a glamour shot of yourself in some nice poses - about a 24" x 18".
This will be a very nice and meaningful gift.
If however, there is a remote chance you will not work out (and 99% of the do not), then I would stick with something conventional like a new socket set (craftsman) or a nice tool box.
If he does not have a car, then scratch the tools and tool box and get him a new video game or accessory.
If they have DirecTV, then get him an NFL Sunday Ticket or College sports package.
I can only tell you this (as an old dad myself that used to be 15), I dated a lot of girls that thought I was "the one". Yet, all the time, I had zero intention of dating a girl past high school, much less through college, even less the prospect of marriage.

find out what his favorite car is and buy him a model car of it.
the kind that are already put together... like the metal ones or something like that.
i like the ones that are fixed up.
all lguys like model cars, and they look cool sitting on a dresser or shelf in a room.
its a cool decoration that will stick around for awhile... and getting one of his favorite car shows a little more meaning/thought... especially if he hasnt actually TOLD you his favorite car. hell care that you bothered to find out

that's a solid thought yet while ur keen to get some factor costly... uggs those are not costly yet its those relatively cool like physique washes and physique mists that smell solid and that they are decrease priced and you're able to get it at Kohl's or a makeup kit
