Memroising Tips???

I got the part of Antigone in our play. I'm memorising by scenes??? is that good?? wat other tips do u have??? Does it help to write them down??

some tips that i take if i have 2 memorize somethin is write them down + say them out loud. practice reciting them 2 ur family or other ppl.
