No -- first, because lawyers like any professional usually charge for their services.

Second, because lawyers are only allowed to practice in states where they are licensed -- and only lawyers can give legal advice.

Third, because lawyers probably wouldn't give advice without a thorough review of the facts -- to avoid malpractice liability issues.

But if you have questions, Yahoo Answers is a good forum to ask -- you might get some useful information.

No, not really. Since law varies from state to state you can post your question here and just make sure that you tell what state you are in.
