It is not that they do not believe in it but that so many unfounded and exaggerated claims have been made about it.
Al Gore got an Oscar and a Nobel prize for his film but sadly because it contained nine silly inaccuracies it has been in the headlines for being wrong on a few points. Hopefully Al has learned the lesson and can stick to accurate and provable points next time.
The UN Panel on Climate Change revised it's predictions this year when it discovered they had accepted seas could rise by 30 meters and then discovered that the scientific evidence actually showed it would rise by just 27 inches 9in the next 100 years!!
Also the eco terrorists have targeted flying - the least polluting of all!!!!! Why did they not target power production - the most polluting? or vehicles - the second most polluting?
Sadly the thing that is stopping many people accepting climate change and the need for them to become involved is simply the wildly exaggerated claims being made for it.
The simple provable facts about climate change speak for themselves and should worry everybody. If climate change activists and the media could just stick to them and avoid the hype then the message would surely get across!!!

Some people just aren't educated about global warming and how it will affect them personally. Since nothing has affected them from global warming (yet) they think that they don't need to care about it. The thing is, if they start to try to prevent it sooner we may be able to solve this problem. Sure it has been publicized by Al Gore and other politicians but they feel it is not something that is of top priority.

Because politicians have turned it into a pawn, a political playing piece. Unfortunately politicians have more say than scientists. And people, especially of late, have come not to trust or care about a single word politicians say.
The truth is, it is a real phenomenon. However, man can do little to stop a natural cycle of a 4.5 billion year old planet. That's not to say it won't cause problems.

Probably since there isn't much to do about that will directly stop it from happening. The way I see it, is Global Warming is going to happen anyways, and nothing we do will stop it. It will only make it very slightly better.
