A man is in some kind of room full of computers. i dont remember much, but the building is struck by lightning, and hes stepping on a wire, so all the information from the computer goes to his brain. He gains wierd abilities. he can read barcodes, etc..... do stuff a computer can do.

...actually, since the first version of "The Computer Wore Tennis Shoes", from 1969 (...and starring a very young Kurt Russell), was made before bar codes were commonplace, I suspect that you just might be referring to the 1995 remake...

I dunno. It sounds good though. Then again, it could be one of those movies that looks cool, but its really crap.
