They have had 22 starting qb's in the past 16 years. None of them have been very good. What the hell is wrong with them? If they brought in a good qb they would make a run at the NFC title game every year.

Look for the Eagles to trade Donovan Mcnabb to the Bears after the season ends for a second or third round pick so they can go with Kevin Kolb.

Not as long as they keep the same personnel guys in the same positions making the same decisions. I think it is time to look at the GM and the scouting department. Not have they had a bad run of QB's, but also coaches. Now that they seem to have an above average head coach (nobody is great until they win the big one and win consistently), they low ball him with the offer from last year and trade away his workhorse back.

The Bears need more than just a quarterback, their defense has been playing under false pretense, they have been over rated since the start of the season, but everyone blame only the quarterback, have to admit though,Bears make good rugs

I'm sure they will eventually but by then will they have the defense they do now? A shame they couldn't pick someone up at the QB position because your right, they would be a much better team.

The last decent QB they had was Jim Miller when Dick Jauron was coach...I don't know why they ever got rid of him...They were in the NFC Championship game with him too...and he was more consistent than Rex...

They should draft a good quarterback. depends where they go in the draft. i would say draft Brian Brohm from Louisville , Matt Ryan from Boston College, or graham Harrell out of Texas tech. all of them should be good quality qb's in a few years with good coaching.

Give Griese a chance. He is a big improvement on Grossman. They do need to draft a young quarterback for the long term

they had a chance to pick up byron leftwich for next to nothing. or even get dante culpepper as a free agent in the offseason. eeventually they will get a franchise qb but this year chalk it up as loss.

Was Orton really that bad? Maybe they should have given him a chance again over Griese. He is still young, Griese isn't.
