The highest grades you can possibly obtain - 'A*'.
However, the subject material is also important. GCSE's as many as you can possibly sit, but to include English, Maths, Physics, Chemistry and Geography.
A 'A' level, the best combination is Maths, Physics and Geography, but Chemistry can be substituted in for either Physics or Geography. MATHS is an absolute must, because any scientiific/technical career requires maths.
Many universities offer meteorology as a degree course.
Try also the Royal Meteorological Society, address/contact below, They may be able to help.
