Like Taiping if I come across any coins I add them to a world coin book (a bunch of 2x2s in plastic sheets sorted by country). I haven't tried getting every year of any country other than the US yet though. I might try Canada sometime in the future.

Not as a collector of say date sets, but if an interesting coin comes my way at a good price I do buy them and add them to my world coin collection. Some of the coins from the 1800's are quite beautiful and a piece of art.

Absolutely. And I'm mostly a collector of US coins. Did you know that Spanish 8 reale coins, most of which came from the mint in Mexico City, were legal tender in the US until 1857?

Yes, I have a decent number from each country. My actual intention is to collect one from each country, but due to the various currency reforms in the South American countries I ended up with a lot more than planned.
