Far be it from me to discount a mother's intuition. Some women swear that with subsequent pregnancies they felt movement as early as 10-12 weeks. Once you've felt that unique feeling, you know it instantly when you feel it again.
I've also heard that mothers of twins feel movements earlier than usual because there are 2 babies moving around in there!

You probably haven't felt any fluttering yet, because the baby is still too small and cannot reach the inner walls of your stomach yet. The earlier you could feel them would probably be week 17-19. Since this is your second child you probably are thinkgin ahead of yourself, and it could just be gas which is totally normal. Your body is more sensative towards the baby or emotions since this is your second, you might think that you are feeling things that haven't even happened yet.
Depending when you had your doctors appointment, you should ask your doctor or call the nurse hotline and ask them when you should experience fluttering because there are times when I felt my baby kick or flutter and I would tell others to feel my belly and they thought I was crazy becuase they didn't feel not a one move.lol. But I would say the earliest would be 17-19 weeks

I have to agree with Jill. I am in my third pregnancy adn have fibromyalgia so I am EXTREMELY sensitive to anythign going on. I felt this baby at around 13 weeks, so while possible Id say HIGHLY unlikely. At 10 weeks your uterus has not even begun to rise out of the pelvic cavity.

Probably not 100% impossible, but definitely HIGHLY UNLIKELY. The baby's movements at this time would be so weak that it's virtually unheard of to feel them. Are you feeling it behind your pelvic bone, or in your abdomen? Because the uterus is still tucked down low behind the pelvic bone at this point - so you wouldn't be feeling your baby move anywhere above the level of your pubic hair.

Even though this is your second pregnancy, 10 weeks is pretty darn early still. If I had to guess, I'd say it was probably gas.

Just wishful thinking :). The earliest to feel the baby move is generally 14 weeks.
However, you won't have long until you can feel it :) Good luck.

At this early stage I think that it is wishful thinking.
But with second pregnancies you do feel it earlier but not that early.
Good luck!
