I am a verizon wireless customer and am looking to buy a new phone (the Motorola Q to be exact) but I do not have an upgrade available at this time. Does anyone know what the full price I will have to pay for the phone will be if I want to put that phone on my existing plan? Will it renew my contract?

If you don't ahve an upgrade available, the full price should be around $425 plus tax. If you've had your current cell phone for more than a year and you have a high enough rate plan, Verizon will usually let you do an early upgrade, which would involve a contract renewal. If you buy it full price and don't gt any money off the phone, then you shouldn't have to renew you contract.

You have to ask Verizon. They can look up your acct and give you a price based on your acct status. I'm pretty sure just saying or typing the word Verizon renews your contract so I'm sure that would too.
