In Egypt we care about the general grade, so we say that a person has passed with the grade of "Pass", "Good", "Very Good", or "Excellent". But we never talk about this GPA thing. Does anybody know how can I calculate my GPA?

i want to make my master of business administration " MBA " in canada
and i finished my studies of english commerce faculty , cairo university , by total grade of 788 out of 1040
or by 75.77 %

If you should apply to an MBA program in Canada, there are organizations used by Canadian (and U.S.) univesities which will convert your grades to the equivalent of a GPA. They use more than just a mere calculation - they look at grades overall from your country, and recognize if the mean is far lower than it would be in Canada, then they make adjustments. It would be almost impossible for you as an individual to make these adjustments unless you knew what their formula was.

Sorry Micho can't helop you on this one cause I have no idea how t do that...but I don't see what point that girl was making about 900 or whatever because 788 out of 1040 is respectable..keep up the good work.

A 75 would be like a C which would be equivalent to about a 2.0

The highest gpa you can get is a 4.0 so i'd say you have to work harder. Although many schools have a cut off of a 2.0gpa.

a 75.77 is not at all acceptable at a good school. you should score between 950 and 1040. sorry man but you are going have to work harder
