Not likely -- and it doesn't need to be...
Remember, the 2nd Amendment only applies (currently) to federal gun control laws -- it was never incorporated to apply against the states, the way the rest of the Bill of Rights (except the 7th) were.
So, the anti-gun lobby could accomplish its agenda far easier by banning guns in most states -- which is Constitutional, unless the state constitutions specifically allow gun ownership -- and without ever having to worry about a federal constitutional amendment.

Yes, it will stand. Most Americans will not willingly give up their guns. We all know that the reason we can sleep at night without a criminal breaking into our homes with his gun is because they are afraid WE have a gun, too. If they knew we had no weapons, how many home break-ins with violence do you think would occur? millions! Also, a Muslim cleric in England said that it will be easy to enact Sharia Law when they want because all the guns have been taken away from the British citizens. They won't be able to fight back. Think about that! It's just the left-wing Liberals that think we should have no guns. (All their bodyguards will though!)

No the second Amendment will not be removed unless the US governement wants a massive uprising of citizens who usually roll with the flow because their lives are otherwise to busy to bother with government bullcrap. Most people in the US would get offended if our rights were tramppled on. We will allow some infringement but taking away the right I don't think so.

The entire "Bill of Rights" is under attack by those who want to be the TYRANTS in charge.
This issue will NOT be favorably resolved as long as the American people are mislead by the media.
The American people need to educate themselves on what is means to be an American.
They also need to learn WHY the Bill of Rights exists.

As long as we have a no-compromise lobby that supports gun rights, it has a chance.

it's very difficult to change the constitution. it's only been changed - or amended 27 times since it's inception. so you can hug your guns at night & feel safe, ok?
