If I had a dollar for every Mike I met, I'd have quite a few dollars.

Do the kid a favor and don't name him Mike.

This goes for Joe, George, and Robert also.

Ditto that. There's absolutely nothing wrong with these names at all, it's just, for me personally, they've gotten so plain and boring since there are so many of them.

Everyone says that there's too many Aiden's and Emily's... and while there's a lot, they still don't compare to the amount of people out there named Mike.

Put it this way; it is better to name him Mike than Uriah, Obadiah, Clarence or, for that matter, Marion. There's a lot to be said for ordinary names, especially when the kid goes to school. It is probably why Jessie James turned to crime. My kids were named; Martin, John, and Jane. (She is a girl) Common names, but at least they are not ashamed to write them down or tell a new boy/girl friend. Having said that, Jane now calls herself 'Janee'. Well, you can't win them all. Anyway you cad, what's the matter with Robert? That's my name!

But I like Michaels ;_; They are so nice to me. And they have personality.

I don't like the Mikes,.. they are too quick to change subject or ignore what is going on. They rush off. They smile but they are unaware of what's going on in reality >.<

I know someone that named their son Malaki or whatever the spelling is.

I think I'd rather be named Michael then Malaki if I was given the choice ( though both are odd for a girl).

If you really want to drive someone nuts,.. suggest Micharu.

If you want to make it clear you don't want a common/popular name, keep suggesting " Tom, Dick, & Harry".

Michael is a beautiful name, but, you're right-the name is everywhere. Some people prefer traditional names, though, to the more original ones.

You're an idiot. Ask Mike Joe George and Rob if they like their names. It has nothing to do with you.

Mothers do not name your kids some weird name. They have to live with it.

I know a lot of people like to name their kids Michael for that was the name of the Archangel in the bible.

If I meet another McKayla, McKenzie, Mc, Jayden (boy or girl), Nevaeh, -Lynn or Rae, I'll puke! I'd much rather meet another Mike, so quit dissing good classic names.
