Israel also gets its entire annual appropriation in the first 30 days of the fiscal year. This is akin to recieving your entire annual salary on Jan 1 and thus being able to earn interest on the unspent portion until you used it.
The U.S gov ends up paying Israel additional interest when Israel reinvests the unspent portion in U.S treasury bills. Israels earned some $660 million in extra interest as of 2004.

Amazingly, Egypt gets almost the same billions as Israel. I was surprised about that bit of information. I think theres some deal where if Israel gets x billions we have to do the same for Egypt.

I pay my taxes like a good American is supposed to and don't cheat! Whatever our cheating, corrupt govenment does with it is out of my hands, because the more I think about it the more angry I get. I just focus on the fact that one day what goes around comes around and these leaders will be judged for their incompetence.

At this point, the US might as well just annex Israel as a 51st state.

Compared to Iraq, what the US gov't gives to Isreal is peanuts.

We give 7 billion a year to Isreal, and billions to it's enemies and neighbors. Eygpt, Palestine, Oman, etc all get US aid.
