i would suggest the Nero 8 Ultra Edition
that will allow u to burn almost anything in any format on cd or dvd.
i would provide u a link thats www.download.com, but u wud need a serial for it.
So id suggest u to torrent it, if thats the way u download ur stuff.
Cuz its faster and ther wud be a cracker that wud give u a serial. its perfectly safe =]
Have fun.

I found an awesome product over the net by cucusoft which
converts avi to dvd etc. Happily copied many movies check out the site cucusoft.com it costs about 35 dollars to purchase they also except paypal. I liked this product because it allows you to see a preview of the movie before you convert it it also allows you to auto fly to disc mode which automatically converts and burns to disc the other neat thing about this software is it allows you to change the level of quality so you could put a 3-4hr movie on one disc rather then 2 like a Harry Potter for instance I mean just a plain dvd-r not a Dvd-r dl. I would also check put another program called magic copier can find on limewire with a key registration this software allows for great dvd to dvd burning.

You can burn the AVI files directly to a DVD as a regular data file.
Any standard DVD player that plays DIVX will play these AVI files.
Remember to get DVD player that plays DIVX. There's a cheaper Philips player which is pretty good.

Use nero.
http://www.nero-download.info/
Install it and start it up. If it has smartstart, selet make video DVD. If not start the program and selet Video DVD. It re-encodes it on the fly toi a special form of MPEG-2 which is what home DVD players play.
If you have a fairly recent player it should play AVI files. But if your not sure, use nero to be on the safe side.

u need to convert them to divx format, if ur dvd player supports divx.

to do that, go to download.com and search for divx converter for windows 6.7..they convert ur avi and burn it to ur dvd as well.
