The best line I've heard is that Napoleon was the French Revolution's greatest son and greatest traitor. Where was liberty in Napoleon's police state? Where was fraternity in a French-dominated empire ? Where was equality in Napoleon's imperial court?

there is the thank you to sympathize with Napolean's strikes, yet that should be on the expe3nse of his victims, who coated his own human beings and armies. Napoleon used human beings the way maximum individuals use kleenex. there is an inclination in history to forget regarding the human casualties of conflict commanders, seeing it is there inventory in commerce. yet N.B. became between the worst, leaving in the back of his own adult adult males, and discounting his enemies' casualties. perhaps the renowned equivalent is Bush in Iraq, the place the objective is political, so the deaths of the squaddies and others is of small effect to the political ideas-set. Collateral harm certainly. N. B. became no longer a competent man or woman by potential of any definition.
