And I don't mean is that correct, because it is. What I mean is; is that justice? Blaming the victim by making them partially culpable is akin to blaming a murder victim for getting in the way of the bullet or the knife.
And you expect civilized nations to follow sharia law? Don't hold your breath.

Yes, that is true. It is also true that a man accused of rape can be his own witness while the victim must have 3 male witnesses.

As for the answerer who thinks we should just mind our own business, I hate to wake you up with a dose of reality. When their way includes killing infidels for the lone "charge" of not submitting to islam, I really don't think sticking your head in the sand is a viable option.

No -- it's not correct under all interpretations of Sharia law -- it's only correct under some of the more fundamentalist interpretations, which punish the woman for any sexual conduct outside of marriage -- voluntary or not.

And no, it's not justice -- but neither is killing a woman because she held hands with a man other than a family relative -- or killing her because she allowed her face to be seen -- they are all part of the same fundamentalist mindset that treats women as property.

Rape is not a factor -- it doesn't change the basic laws that punish women for not conforming to ridiculous standards of conduct -- but that's also why most modern Muslim nations don't follow that kind of strict interpretation -- only the most fanatic fundamentalists take it that far.

i admire the way dumb way of attention you do. From the place the hell you added those nonsense. sufferer is sufferer not accessory to the crime in any respect. The raper in Islam could be killed, and the sufferer could be recovered and satified by making use of the Islamic regulation. yet another element greater advantageous than 0.5 of the regulations you utilize on your u . s . are closed to sharia regulation.

It's crazy, isn't it?

Then, too, you have the opium fields in Afghanistan and all that. Hypocrisy!

That's an irony because in Saudi Arabia drug dealers are beheaded in the public square.

If they are happy with how they live, why let it bother you. We should all mind our own business for once and not think of ourselves higher than anyone else.
