I am all for confronting someone if they stare at you or say something about you. I especially like to do this is mexican restaruants as I am fluent in Spanish. It fun to see the look on their face when they realize that you actually do understand everything they have said the entire time you have been there. LOL....classic!

Interesting question? Why do people feel the need to gossip? You could confront them, and that would probably work, but it would be better to not dignify a response and rise above all the pettiness.

I have never heard anyone make a comment about me. Although my friend heard some girls talking about me. They said "She looks like one of those perfect girls, but I bet she skipped class".

I don't know what to think about that.

Not a lot. Sometimes I go back and sometimes not. Most of the time not though. I don't like confrontation. I'll probably talk to them about it later in private.

it depends on how serious it is....if its something thats not really important, just let it slide, but make sure the person doesn't make it into a really bad rumor....if its serious, confront the person and if they say something else, try to do something that will make you forget about it.....usually they are only saying something because they are either jealous or is mad about something and taking it out on you

Try looking at this from a different prospective. There are many people who are severely 'hearing impaired' a.k.a. almost deaf which includes me and many times I wonder what is being said not only about me but what is said to me.

I've never heard anyone talk about me, but they probably wouldn't be saying anything kind.

I think this habit needs to stop and it shows no properness at all. No respect.

you walk back and say, "excuse me?" and they turn around and smile at you and say, "yes?" and you say, "I overheard what you and your friend were talking about and I really don't appreciate it. So next time you pass someone, wait till your alone in the confines of your basement to hurt thier feelings."
and then they'll feel like super bad.

Too many talk bad about me-I just ignore it, I'm not in the mood to argue with anyone.
