I find it disgusting how people in asian countries have no feelings for animals and treat them as garbage.
i watched a horrific video of turks throwing a dog into a dumpster truck to be crushed alive.
do these people have no feelings? how can they sleep at night knowing they take away innocent lives? how would they feel if someone slaughtered their family (which would serve them right)?
what nasty, horrible pieces of trash, not even worthy of being called a human being.

Blokheed - north koreans love to EAT dogs...
i have been to cairo and was horified by the state of the animas there. the horses were covered in scabs, had something that looked like rain rot, most of them had bones poking out (and i mean skin and bones) and were tied next to a busy road on a line that was about 1 foot long so they cant eat, lie down or drink. i bet they wouldnt treat their families like that.

PS - people presume that i have seen just one video. i watched tonns and tonns about animals in 'uncivilised' countries, and, hey presto, they get treated like s***.

Well it is a known fact that Asian people do eat dogs or did eat dogs I know this for a fact because my dad was in Vietnam war and would go down to the shops and see puppies for sale and it was not for the kiddies for a pet for Christmas, so I guess throwing a dog in a dumpster alive is just like us throwing out are trash every week to them. But to say all Asian people would eat a dog or throw one out is not what I am saying all I am saying is that it is in there culture for some to treat animals a bit differently and it might be within there rights as a person of there country to do so so in there eyes they are not doing anything wrong it is only us looking at it as wrong because of are beliefs.

I was stunned that people in North Florida eat squirrels, this is a delicacy as well as in my hometown people would dig up
a very endangered sea turtle and eat the eggs. As far as I know animals in impoverished nations look to them as a food source on the other hand some Asians rev er animals so
much they worship them and consider them holy like India.
Ironically, Asians have a year with an animal representing that year except one the Dragon but I guess it could be an animal the other 11 are RAT OX SNAKE TIGER MONKEY HORSE
SHEEP sometimes called GOAT RABBIT in Vietnam rabbit year is CAT DOG and PIG. According to tradition Buddha called all animals to his attendance and honored the ones that showed up by designating a year for each. The pig somewhat lazy like me...I am the Pig year this year too, showed up last..the opportunistic rat was first..and that's the order they go!

Ok, there are a lot of issues I have with your question, as I am an Asian, currently in the US.
1) There are all kinds of cruel people, and generalizing what 1 person does to an entire race/nation/continent is not only discriminatory, it is illogical.
2) Not worthy of being called human beings? Aren't you being judgemental? I agree that people who are cruel to animals should be punished, but if you eat KFC, then let's play that game; we will cram you and your family in with tens of thousands of people with not enough room to sit or lay down, in your own feces. We will force feed you until you are plump enough. Then we will hang you upside down by the legs (remember, this includes your family), possibly breaking your legs, and dunk you and your family into scalding hot water in order to remove your feathers (in this case, I think hair is more appropriate). Then, we will run you through a machine that cuts you and your family's throats with a blunt blade after which you slowly bleed to death. Don't believe it? Check out the website.
3) In 'uncivilized' countries, people do not have the luxury of having these atrocities hidden from them. Count yourself lucky to be in a 'civilized' nation, although I do not count you as being civilized. You have no right whatsoever to judge people for surviving.

And why should people (Asians or not) care so much about animals? After all, aren't animal simply... animals? Look to what you said about people in Cairo: "i bet they wouldnt treat their families like that.", how dare you compare a human family with animals? Do you think your sister, brother, mother, father, etc. are equal to animals? You're worried about the animals in North Korea but shouldn't you care about the situation of the people of North Korea? Would you be against a bomb beeing sent to North Korea because of the people or animals of North Korea? I think you're the person with problems here.

I see - so people in western world are not like that? Only Asian?
I found a kitten - alive - IN A BROWN PAPER BAG left inside a dumpster at the local shopping centre. Our local RSPCA now has a weekly show of "animal rescue" and it regularly featured cruel treatment to animals here in Australia. And the owner definitely are NOT Asians.
As someone said - animal cruelty is EVERYWHERE.
Because you see it in Asia you generalised that it only happen there. The reality is - there are LOTS of the same stuff happen in YOUR country too. You just don't see it.
It is good that you are feeling strongly about animal cruelty, but keep it about animals - NOT race.
Cheers

you have an opinion and human beings at here could appreciate your opinion, no longer have a bypass at you. i hit upon it disgusting that Koreans consume dogs and how they kill them yet it relatively is their custom and that they know no differance. To them it relatively is common, as generic as us ingesting a pork burger (or quorn burger once you're a veggie) it is not in simple terms asian international places that have not have been given any emotions for his or her animals, there are a number of animals in the united kingdom / united states that are taken care of in simple terms as undesirable or maybe worse and we are meant to be the countries of animal enthusiasts. I trust you that one and all human beings of regardless of race or coloration are the scum of the earth for mistreating animals, and could have harsher sentences for cruelty to animals as a exchange of in simple terms a slap on the hand and a small positive.

i think that i'm the first asian to answer this and actually i feel that the reson there is cruelty to animals is beacsue of whites/christains/inuits n the western wolrd. If you don't belilve me i know many non-whites/inuit mainly hispanic and asian who love animals. IMe included. I have lived in europe, south american and asia and i feel that animals were treted worse over here followed by thailand where this elphant was forced to beg.
I feel that whites/western world/christians r cruel to animals cos there culture promotes this and say it ok to do whatever they want to animals and human are always the best, full stop
inuits beacuse they kill things like whales n seals n endengared species for sport n traditions and very few inuits actaully eat/wear the meat.
tru that natives and agrobianl kills animals too as the are "backward" but many look after the land, dont kill endengared only kill for food etc.
Btw turks n egytpians r classed as arabs not asian

I knew this went on in various parts of the world but, I didn't know that asians were partial too it in particular.
Just because you seen it in a video doesn't mean that it's a mass practice among asians.
If you really want comfirmation, do some research on it. Don't allow yourself to be driven on emotion alone.
I would like to have those people who crushed that dog in a dark, dank torture chamber; their screams of agony would be music to my ears.

How did you come to that " assumption " why MOST Asians hate animals??...there might be the odd sicko anywhere in the world who thinks animal life is not worth as much as theirs.....once had a friend at school who's brother was into drowning little kittens in their council flat toilets, he was also into, I'll use the word ..harming..other people's pets in the parks when they wern't looking...I dont think his background/origin ever came into it though.
