All i hear is peace,
yet the president of Iran says israel should be wiped off the map
That dosen't sound very peaceful to me
I also do not hear a single muslim saying how he was wrong, or just angry,
he meant what he said,
A presidnet gets up and says A country and all its people should be exterminated and no says anything
and instead all walk around under an umbrella of peace
If iran was secular, then i can not link his comments to islam
But iran has no spearation of church and state, his polictical will is his religeous will
Tell me how he is going to peacefully wipeout israel?
does this sound like a religeon of peace to you?
the iranan preseidnt does not think so
but then again what makes him different from any other president?
what says you people?
and why does no one complain when he says this, instead they all lowerer their heads and say yes, you are a peaceful president of a peaceful religeon?

Thanks
plenty of interesting and thought provoking questions certainly indicating that one sparrow does not make a summer
The problem lies within these so called religeous institutions of ours. Not every christian wants a modern day crusade or would support one, the same is true for muslims
The problem lies in how the practice of our religeons differ what we read in our relgeous books, and how the execution of our religeon by church or state is for the states gain under the peoples so called benefit,
In certain parts of the middle east i do hear on childrens shows how life makes more sense to beocme a marty, but at the same time we have gI joe cartoons on american tv telling everyone to become a soldier to fight the america's enemies
how do we stop these mad men bent on tearing our world in two using our religeons as a source of fuel to hate each other, i guess not becoming a martyr or a soldier is a good start

First of all,
please do not classify all muslims/islams as one person.Just because the president of Iran says/does this, doesnt make EVERY muslims/islam agree with it, right?
Second of all,
Isreal took their holy land, and is taking over palistine...
and when you say "i also do not hear a single muslim saying how he was wrong..ect"
think about it
Why would muslims whom havent done ANYTHING wrong, apologize?Yes,tehres plenty of muslims out there who HAVE done wrong, and have done horrible things..but why should all muslims be responsible for that?
You ovboiusly do not know anything about this issue, because if you did you'd understand whats going on...
If you actually KNEW what the isrealis have done, then you would realize how ignorant this question is.
You cannot claim everyone whose islam is "not peaceful"
SO, before you say " islam is not a peaceful religoin" know your facts, read whats going on,and actually keep up to date.

Hi Irans so called president is just trying to push his luck as did Saddam.Being a muslim I live within the laws of this land as do most Muslims so it is truly unfair to say our religion is not peaceful. As a lot of the english and american population didnt want a war, good muslims want to live a peaceful life, could any person stop Bush or Blair the answer simply is no,can we stop the Iranian president from shooting off his mouth the answer is no.We have Muslim leaders who call for calm ,I was born a muslim and stand by my religion no matter what, Yet I do not know these so called leaders they certainly dont represent me.So really you must understand ,it definately isnt the muslim religion that preaches killing at all it is the silly individuals who think they are muslims and think they are fighting a cause (which they create).Regarding the jewish middle east fiasco do these people from both sides really want peace or do they want to wipe each other off the face of this earth?,as I think both sides have had enough chances to make peace and live side by side,we do here or lets say we adhere to the laws which make us,which is good.I think pointing a finger at a whole religion just because a muslim says something is unfair after all when Bush says something wrong I dont get up out of my seat and start saying all christians are the same,I know its bush who is being silly, when the ira were bombing the uk we never once said the Catholics or Protestants were to blame because they werent we said the IRA were to blame so I leave you all with maybe something to think about ,maybe if we put all these negative energies into trying to live peacefully as a mixed race nation maybe one day in the very far future we can live in peace now wouldnt that be something.

Citing the President of Iran, a Shia Muslim, as an example of all of the people in the Islamic Umma is the same as saying the Grand Dragon of the Ku Klux Klan represents all Protestants.

If all Muslims supported his thoughts, we would be in world war 3 right now. Have you seen the Iraqis who say OBL is crazy, and they don't understand how anybody could listen to him?
Not all Muslims are extremeists. Many of them just want to live peaceful uneventful lives like the rest of us. But because they are surrounded by the crazies, and they don't know who those crazies are, as they look like everyday people, they are afraid to speak up. They don't know who to trust.

Do you have a link to this?
There are extremist throughout the world - for example Hitlers abuse of power didnt mean every German was evil like him.
These people are wrong and dangerous but I believe this is the views of one man (unfortunately influential) and I do not hold the whole muslim religion guilty for his comments.

Some people use religion and twist its teachings around for their benefit....
Islam, if people bothered to inform themselves instead of just flapping their lips, is a peaceful religion which consider Christians and Jew "people of The Book", that is to say that they see them as brothers. Jihad is a holy war, yes. BUT IT IS A HOLY WAR WITHIN ONESELF.... Look people have done it for centuries upon centuries where they take religion and its teachings and completely strip them of any truth for their own sick benefits.
Hey, President Bush is doing the same with Christianity.
PS- How can the US demand Middle Easten Arab nations to strip themselves of weapons when Israel is loaded with them? Its ridiculous, it will leave the Arab nations vulnerable to Isreal! Isreal is already mercilessly killing innocent Palistinians daily.

Stop blindfolding yourself. It has been proved that what he said was that it was better if Israel did not exist in the first place. But with over a million tons of bombs dropped on Iraqi civilians I dont think Christianity is in position to say anything about Islam.
Consider, Israel is still there, un-invaded and un wiped out but Iraq is nearly wiped out already. What does that tell you

This man is a very dangerous individual. He is not a true Muslim, and he needs to be stopped before it's too late. This is not a true representation of Islam, this is a man using his religion as an excuse to make these awful comments. The true representation of Islam is the thousands of Muslims who are good people, who worship Allah, who think that this sort of behaviour is abhorrent. Islam is not to blame, this is down to this man believing it is acceptable to behave in this way. I am sure that most Muslims condemn his actions and words.
