They hear anytime we do something wrong. They hear anytime the enemy does something right and kills our fellow, brave citizens. But they don't hear of how many innocent native citizens are loosing their lives to a savage mentality. They don't hear how many everyday people see a soldier and breathe evenly for the first time in weeks because they know their salvation has arrived. They don't hear of the huge blows we deal to the bad guys every day. I haven't been there in a while, but I know then the story here wasn't the reality there, and that since the surge, I hear from over there that Al Queda is being dealt so many crippling blows that ought to be cause for optimism here. That would only happen if we knew the whole story. So should they focus on the terrorist side? Yes and no. We should hear more of how horrible they treat people along with the mistakes we make in treating them in response. But we should hear more about our side of the war. Our soldiers are performing admirably as both fighting men and humanitarians. If you find that hard to believe, you prove my point exactly. You believe what you've been fed.
