The 109th Republican Congress wasted a lot more money than the 110th has so far by leaps and bounds. I don't think this country can afford any more social programs at this time. They need to put back the regulations on corporations that the Republicans did away with so things are more affordable and rip-offs are much more difficult to achieve.
The fact that many corporations are making record profits and the affordability of their product is becoming out of reach should be a message to everybody. Then we wouldn't see any need for the added social programs.

I don't mind paying taxes for what is NEEDED.
Since at least 2/3 of our tax dollars are WASTED on fraud, corruption, greed and inefficiency, our BUDGET should be cut 60%. Then we will have a balanced budget AND lower taxes.
Since money is POWER those asking for more money (higher taxes) are greedy for MORE POWER.
They are TYRANTS! NEVER vote for anyone who wants to raise your taxes.
