Things occur which we do not expect all the time. When those things are good things, the word serendipity describes them

Yes I believe in serendipity...

The movie Serendipity had a premise of meeting the "right" person. Just remember that serendipity can apply to every aspect of your life, not only your love life.

If you mean a serendipity is a discovery almost by chance, then absolutely.

Serendipity may also refer to:
* Serendipity 3, a restaurant in New York City - never been there, but I believe it exists
* Serendipity (film), a romantic comedy film starring Kate Beckinsale and John Cusack - never seen it, but I believe it exists

Not sure about these others
* Serendipity (weblog software), a blogging system
* Serendipity Dog, a robot dog that appeared on BBC Children's television in the 1960s
* Serendipity (book series), a series of children's books about fictional animals
* Serendipity, an unintentional bottling of very old Ardbeg with 12 Year Old Glen Moray

if the man i marry and who's going to be madly in love with me happens to look as handsome and hot as john cusack......then i'll believe in serendipity!!!! hhahahaha

But really, it's just like asking if you believe in destiny, soulmates, fate, wishing on a start.... it's a different experience to each of us and we can define these experiences in different ways...we all believe in a lot of things and find answers in an enigmatic way...

but perhaps it's our own will to find things; to be someone; to become happy and content; to find somebody perfect for us...that actually takes us to that profound-ness of a thing we call as serendipity....

I believe in prayers and in the fact that God has already a plan for me...a map of my life...a life that He has made perfect and beautiful just for me...that's why when a good thing happens or even a bad thing...i don't really worry because I know i'll end up with someone and with something, somewhere that's meant for me....

...and that is my sort of 'serendipity'

Serendipity is the effect by which one accidentally discovers something fortunate, especially while looking for something else entirely.

So yes it happens. It's not magic or anything, just coincidence.

yes, I do! Serendipity means coincidence. in finding the right person for you, there's such a thing.

Even in science, serendipity is really true. Some inventions are invented COINCIDENTALLY, so there. Serendipity is true. :p

You betcha! That's a happy coincidence, put there by the Big Guy, so that we might get a glimpse of how he does things when we pay attention... I haven't seen the movie, but hey, it's Saturday morning!
