I always clean from top to bottom. Never used the same rags from the bathroom anywhere else. Clean toilets last. Dust first and vacuum last so all dust fallen will get vacuumed.

Work from top to bottom. Dust higher shelves, ceiling fans and furniture first. Vacuum and clean hard floors next. After that, I would sanitize countertops, door handles, light switches, etc with a 3:1 water/bleach mixture. Lastly I would clean fingerprints and grime off the windows. After I had a good break, I would attack the bathrooms (spray the inside of the toilet, sink and tub with a foam cleaner first, wipe down countertops and top of toilet for dust/grime, then go back to the toilet/sink/tub and finish cleaning there).

Always start in the largest room first and work your way to the smallest this is how us housecleaning experts do it, I own a housecleaning business and this is how I clean houses but remember don't spend anymore time than fifteen minutes on each item you clean in a room this will help speed your cleaning. Good Luck !

Always start at the top and work your way down. My mom also advised me to always clean the rooms that guests frequent more, toilet kitchen etc, couse you're still full of energy when you start so you're sure to give them a GOOD clean.

bottom to top. big stuff out of the way, sweep and vac, empty trash, then windows and dusting is your last step, unless you're cleaning up after a hurricane. Then you get what you can reach and excavate your way in.
