I personally find it pretty disgusting.

Hi Krystal, i think they are absolutely tasteless i was so disappointed with them when i tried them in an Indian restaurant, the name intrigued me ,they sounded exotic lol wow what a let down !!

I used to hate it, all slimy, mushy, and too its a vegetable. As i got older, my taste buds changed, my appreciaton for nutritional food changed, and ive changed. Now i love okra, esp with tomatoes, stewed. Fried okra is okay, but i try not to do fried too often.

It's kinda slippery in my mouth and slimy, but I like fried okras better.

Love it ... Fried Okra is awesome, but I also like it in gumbos and stews.

Breaded or batter dipped and deep fryed very good as a dipping unit in sauce like a white gravy..

I think it's disgusting too. Another name for it is "lady's fingers" I believe. Certainly tastes like a fingered lady.

Ah yeah its pretty good, I just dont eat it plain though. Usually its either fried or mixed into my gumbo.
