Please add to my list of ESSENTIAL albums that any music lover must have...essential please, I may like Jay Z, but I wouldn't think his last album is essential.

Beatles - Abbey Road
Beatles - Sgt. Peppers Lonely Hearts Club
Jay Z - Reasonable Doubt
Nas - Illmatic
2pac - All Eyez on Me
A Tribe Called Quest - Midnight Mauranders
Bob Marley - Legend
No Doubt - Tragic Kingdom
U2 - Joshua Tree
Nirvana - Nevermind
Eagles - Hotel California
Neil Diamond - Hot August Night

Um....okay, after thinking about it...there are too many essential albums to have, lol...I missed alot! I didn't even bother to put The Police, Van Morrison or others on...just realized there are too many...

Please add some...I am curious to see if there are albums I haven't listened to yet, I would give them a spin to check them out.

First off, no best of or greatest hit albums should be on the list. Compilations are just that: songs compiled from other albums.

Bob Dylan: Blood on the Tracks
Public Enemy: It Takes a Nation of Millions to Hold Us Back
Johnny Cash: At Folsom Prison
The Replacements: Let It Be
Beastie Boys: Paul's Boutique
David Bowie: Hunky Dory
Bruce Springsteen: Nebraska
Miles Davis: Bitches Brew
Guided by Voices - Bee Thousand
My Bloody Valentine: Loveless

Amongst many others.........
