The world was behind Bush when the U.S. went to Afghanistan after bin Laden. When he shifted gears and went into Iraq instead of focusing on bin Laden and al Qaeda things begin to fall apart. Bad intelligence is the excuse, but the bottom line is Bush is sending brave American troops to be killed in a police action.

Stark may have been a little flamboyant in his description, but he was accurate. And now Bush is threatening to attack Iran. Our country is run by a bunch of frat boys and we are in greater danger today because of this administration.

George W. Bush need to be impeached before he starts WWIII.

in my opinion, I value comments that are subsidized up via some standards. First could be info. that's what i seek for once I ask questions right here on Yahoo. What are the info? OR, is it purely an opinion it is ideally placed down in writing. 2nd, i seek for reason. Is the opinion out of subject; is it out of Godly principled love? If no longer then i do no longer pay plenty interest to it. 0.33, is it logical? If it would not ring authentic to me, I question its value. Fourth, Does it flow alongside with my Bible experienced judgment of right and incorrect? it is the authentic value. If it stands as much as those 4 factors (and that i'm specific there are greater yet that's what's coming to techniques), then it relatively is an extremely valued opinion. The Zeb ;)

It's too bad most other "liberal" Democrats in Congress lack the nerve to speak the cold-hard truth like Rep. Stark out of fear of being lambasted from archconservative reactionaries. I echo ArgleBargle's amusement regarding the false outrage from the far-rightist Bushbots.

Some of the answers from these bitter liberal sheep are hilarious. Truth to power? Speaks from the mind? Yeah, too bad that 'mind' is about the size of a grain of sand. He's a typical California radical lib who's acting more as a shock-jock propogandist than a congressman. What a disgrace.

It's not Bush who enjoys watching American troops die, it's about 90% of the democrats. The liberal congressmen are representing their consituents well, by undermining the military every chance they get while propping up the terrorists.

He was a poor selection to represent anyone. There would have been better ways as an elected official than the words he chose. There will be no compromise with an official like that one only his narrow view. Negotiations begin with compromise, choosing how you express your opinion in a forum such as the U.S. Congress says much about your district, party, and personality. Here is one man for the good of Washington, the Democrat Party, and his district that needs to be replaced.

Just another in a long line of raving left-wing moonbats who's tenuous grip on reality slipped away when Gore and Kerry both went down in flames. Someone should give him a BDS innoculation.

Rep. Pete Stark (D-CA) “Representing” the Cereal State, you know! Flakes and Nuts!
Stark was just shooting his mouth off, as he has many times in the past, he crossed a line of bad taste in suggesting that the president actively enjoys seeing American soldiers' heads blown off.
But in today’s world, one expects no less from traitorous tripe from the Un-American left.

I think his statements are a defamation of character and he should be brought up on charges. He should also resign immediately as he is a disgrace to the UNITED STATES of AMERICA.

He's a hoot.

It's nice to see someone counter the far right GOP hysterics who say outrageous things all the time like Inhofe, Goode, and various other kooks - who never get called on their stupidity.
