1a. Large chunks of Meteors, meteorites, astroids, and comets have very high gravity .: pulling in other chunks of space matter increasing the gravity. This huge chunks of rock are caught on orbit around a star. .:Creating a planet.
1b. Very hot gasses swirl around. From Supernove colaspses, Magnatar explosions, or other astronomical event. These gases collect and form planets. Usually large, like Jupiter and Saturn. They go into orbit around a star.

Well, it's either "Why Not?"
Or The story about us being God's special creation and only attention point was created by terriancentric individuals who didn't know better. On the other hand, maybe the others are first draft and we are the final draft - or the way it has worked out, we are a failed prototype and some other place is the published version.

The solarsystem consists of the sun + debris, the debris being all the planets including earth. That´s all earth is. A speck of dust that was left over as the sun formed. Nothing was "created".

GOD had NOTHING to do with creating the other planets... the creation of planets is just a normal outcome of what happens when a cloud of hot gas cools.
GOD is what the less than well educated say when they try to explain a natural phenomena that they don't understand and don't have the education to research.
AND... this string is NOT about RELIGION and SPIRITUALITY... it is about ASTRONOMY...

You seem to be asking this question from the religious perspective, in which case you ought to propose your question in the Religion & Spirituality category.
To answer from the science point of view, other planets exist because they formed from the same accretion disk that the earth did.

the aim of the universe is not only to sustain the earht but the whole balance as such. If other planets were not there probably even earth wouldn't have been there

If created by God, then the "why" of their creation is:
to have EXACTLY the effect they do have.
Just for starters:
their gravitational effects on us and other bodies
for the emotional and intellectual effects they have upon us
