She and her husband haven't really done anything for either group, especially blacks.
Both groups need to take a closer look at the actions of the Clintons rather than the sound bites. Don't they see that, when they come to a black event, they start taking in a different dialect?
It's insulting and quite transparent.....why are minorities supporting these flim-flams?

Well, if you were a minority, and you had to make a choice between Cons or neo cons what ever, who don't like the underdog, and Libs, who at least pretend to be with under dog, who would you vote for??!!

First of all, why would ANYBODY support Hillary Clinton?
But having said that, here are a few reasons:
1. Association: During the Clinton Administration, someone actually declared that Bill Clinton was "the first Black President". His approval rating with African Americans was high, and I think Hillary is riding his coattails.
2. Perception: There is a general feeling that Democrats care more about the problems of African Americans than Republicans. (I would say that it is a symbiotic relationship. The Democrats say a few nice things a pass a few bills for Blacks, and that population rewards them with votes so the Dems can stay in political power.). Since Hillary is the front-runner, she gets the biggest boost from this.
3. Bush: Bush's negative numbers amongst blacks are even higher than the general population. I think a lot of people, black, white or whatever, are trying to rally behind a Democrat that they think can win the White House.

To answer your question redlegman64 and mentat have very good answers, which I, too, agree with. Blacks as a group have always supported the Democrats and the Clintons have always had a very good relationship with the black community. A very sincere and truly loving relationship. This I say coming from the heart! The rest of the others follow along, because the Clintons stand for the people (generally speaking), the poor, and working class.

What other choice is there for African Americans? Obama can't win and the other Democrats don't have much of a chance. The Republicans are too ridiculous to even consider.
Most African Americans are fairly liberal because, based on our history, the conservatives have always stood against even the most basic fundamental rights for African Americans. The Republican Party now identifies itself with conservatives, conscientiously appeals to the bigots and is therefore unacceptable.
The Bush administration has driven the nail in the coffin for the Republican Party as far as African American voters are concerned. The response to the aftermath of Katrina was one of the most disgraceful things I have ever seen in my lifetime.

Are you thinking that Bush is doing good things for Blacks? The NAACP held a republican presidential debate and the Republicans could not find time in their schedule to show up, even though it was scheduled 6 months before the event. The Republicans are very clear that they are not interested in Black Americans, so most Blacks vote Democrat.

Because they think she is going to give them a lot of free stuff and they think the Republicans will take that stuff away. Neither is true and in fact, when it comes to free stuff, Clinton signed (and often takes credit for), the largest overhaul of welfare since it's inception - taking away a lot of free stuff. But you have to remember, the minorities are being told what to do and who to vote for by their leaders, their clergy and the media. I would be insulted by this if I were a minority member. I'm not saying they are going to get a better shake from Republicans, but I don't think that Democrats are necessarily that much better for them.
The funny thing is that all of the middle and upper middle class minority members I know are more conservative and religious than me or most of the white people I associate with.

Among all presidential candidates from both parties, Hillary Clinton is lesser evil. Why anyone in it's sound mind would support evil Republican Neocon, Juliani? Obama is OK, but he does not have any chance.
