How many lawsuits has Whirlpool Corporation lost against
them for injuries, mental anguish, etc.

Mental Anguish -- I'd be surprised if any -- emotional distress is not usually a claim in products liability cases -- though it may be for workplace harassment lawsuits.

Personal injury -- most probably being products liability -- I'm sure there have been many suits -- but no big ones I've heard of -- a quick check shows over 350 published opinions, mostly at the appellate level -- so a very rough estimate of 2000 lawsuits that went to trial
