My favorite fiction was "The Dark Tower" series by Steven King. My sons got me interested in it and we all read it, and discussed it. It was the one interest we had in comman while they were teenagers.

most recently Twilight, New Moon, and Eclipse or The uglies Series.

Why? they are awesome! I can relate to the characters and the writing is great. In Twilight there's Edward , Jacob, and Alice and I would be laughing nonstop at Alice and like chucking the book across the room in another (cuz of some of the parts) I love the characters in Twilight and the pot and hte elegance. As for Uglies Tallywa and Shayla are awesome! The high tech things are awesome and the plot is amazing, I definitely recommend both books.

"The Doomsday Conspiracy" by Sidney Sheldon.

I'm not even quite sure why, I read read a ton of books, but this one always pops in my head when people ask about good books. I got an old paperback copy from my aunt when I was 15 and I've re-read it two times since then. It's just such a good suspense novel and very clever writing makes it a true page turner. If you are a fan of suspense novels this is a must-read.

My favourite book is The shadow of the wind (La sombra del viento) by Carlos Ruiz Zafón. I like it because I couldn't find out who the bad guy was until it was revealed. Every chapter I thought it was someone else. And the novel read very easily. It's about 500 pages (Dutch version) long and I finished it in 5 days.
I also like the novels by Ben Elton, especially First Casualty, High Society and Dead Famous as Ben Elton has a very strange but funny way of writing and looking at things.

Awaken the Giant Within by Anthony Robbins.

The books got a whole universe of information in it (544pages), and he really pours his heart out in the book.

Extremely helpful and informative!

"I know that no matter where you are in your life, you want more! No matter how well you're already doing or how challenged you now may be, deep inside you there lies a belief that your experience of life can and will be much greater than it already is. You are destined for your own unique form of greatness..."

My favorite work of fiction is 'Replay' by Ken Grimwood.

The concept of getting a second chance to live your life over is an old one, but when it happens, and keeps happening, it's wonderful and hellish at the same time. This book really made me wonder what I would do differently if the same thing happened to me.

Animal Farm by George Orwell, in part because it was the first book that *really* made me think. Second favorite is The Crucible by Arthur Miller, again, in part, because it makes you think.

Hmmm.... that's a toughie. It would have to be...

Hip-Hop High School. It's such a great book, and so real. And I felt so connected with the main character because she was just like me. Everything that was going on in her life, was happening, or happened to me.
