And, how do come to terms with such situations, or issues entailing the situations?

It is often the situation of envy and jealousy that complicate and embitter relations among people ... people often like to be wealthy for themselves, for instance, but would look at other people's wealth quit differently. The same is true with many other things that people posses and like to posses, and take pride in their possessions.

I believe you like and recognize in others what you see in yourself!

If you didn't already have it inside of you, no matter how small, you can't recognize it in others!

If someone has a certain quality in their lives in a greater extent than me, I just bless them and say a small 'one sentence' prayer for their betterment.

It keeps my mind's attention on what I like, instead of meaningless emotions of defensiveness like judgement and so on!

No I think its the other way round... no I don't mean others like in me what they lack! I mean I seem to be "attracted" to and like other people who have similar values to me...

The "quality's" I look for in friends, the "quality's" I admire are ones I hold close to my own heart and live by myself. Things like loyalty, respect, empathy, an open enquiring mind... a spiritual side... etc.

I haven't ever envied other peoples wealth or possessions. I haven't ever liked anything in anyone else that I lacked myself. If I liked it in others... it would be something I adhered to or tried to have in /or for myself....

The only thing I like in others which I lack myself is the ability to play music or paint wonderful pictures. I'm not really much of a one for envying what others have prefer to get what I have for myself. I overcome my lack of artisticness by appreciating what others can produce.

I think you might admire those who appear simply to acheive things you yourself think you are unable to.....which is probably delusional or that we may have obstacles we cannot see ways around however we have a tendency to admire and associate with those with similiar attributes to our own......I acknowledge what I lack but feel it isnt a handicap living in society and neither should anyone else...except yourself for who you are and others will admire you for it

I admire all car drivers, I hate it, I like the way they smoothly handle any situation on the road, I panick. I like anyone with compassion and caring. But I am honest.

We do mostly like what we don't have...... however, it must be desirable in the first place.... for instance, if I am not dishonest, it does not mean I would like dishonest people.
